Coaching Philosophy
A recent study has found that 69% of people feel trapped in the same old routine, and only 3 out of 10 people are happy with their lives.
Why Coaching?
While we have the ability to take action and achieve our goals without the support of a coach, Coaching is a proven, effective way to get us from where we are to where we want to be much much faster, coupled with a deeper understanding of who and why we want to reach those goal 'destinations'.
WHERE YOU ARE -----Coaching-----> WHERE YOU WANT TO BE (quicker and with greater awareness!)
By working through a curated process each session, my clients better identify and clarify their goals, continuously achieve and build upon said goals, and also uncover how they work, what drives them, and what holds them back. As a result, each of my clients leaves the session with a renewed sense of excitement, and a clear committed-to-action plan.
Consider how a basketball coach serves as a catalyst in developing the skills of an athlete, leading the athlete to progress much more efficiently than they would be able to alone. A life coach similarly reflects back a client's own thoughts/ideas/views, without the imposition of outside advice or opinion, leading the client to achieve what they want based on their own ideas.
The coach serves to support the client in unlocking those ideas by offering new vantage points and probing with effective questioning through a process tailored to facilitate the client's ongoing breakthroughs. This ultimately leads the client to understand themselves better, resulting in clear steps (that actually work) towards the fulfillment of their goals, both long and short-term.
*Coaching is rooted in the belief that no one can possibly know a person as well as they know themselves.*
Just as we can't see the nose on our own face, a coach similarly serves as an impartial voice reflecting back the tendencies that may be too close and deeply inherent for us to see clearly.
